Real men  ? Hahahahaha. Most men barely bathe & groom their face & head let alone their bodies. And they don't care about satisfying a woman with their appearance or anything else as long as they get their rocks off !! 😄

I don't mind my body hair.  Not that I have alot of it but growing up, Magnum PI was the television role model for many young men in my age category.  What bothers me now is the gray hairs showing through on my chest - instantly ages you!

The hair that bothers me the most is the hair growing on and in my ears!  That's worse even than nose hair because it's harder to see to trim.  I'm a very young feeling 52-year old whose is trapped in a body that is rapidly giving out on me!  I can't do much about the autoimune disease processes going on inside me, but having old man hair in my ears, really?

White hair on the chest and no hair on the top suggests that, whatever you're claiming, you're older than that. I have never had a particularly hairy torso but for 15 years, since I went sly, I've kept the rest of me pretty much at a minimum. Again, this a personal preference. I've no idea how much hair on my head I would have if I let it grow back and what colour it might be. I've tried the "naked" look and, frankly, that's fine but maintenance is an issue. Oddly, my legs are the parts I keep peeled. I tan very easily and white hair against tan flesh doesn't cut it for me. I use a depilatory and "touch up" with a razor every so often if a spare hair shows up. Again, I'm old, 72 in a few weeks, so this may be an issue for the young, dark haired and hirsute. PJ

If you get a face and body trimmer with a foil attachment it's easy to keep those ear hairs trimmed. A young mind and attitude doesn't have to be trapped in an old body. A  healthy & clean eating plan coupled with regular weight training will give you a body that will look much younger than 72 years. 😄👍

I have been told I am as hairy as a gorilla, There isn't much on me that is free from hair, but I like it! If I didn't I don't even want to think about the maintenance required to keep me sly from head to toe...

I am a generally an un-hairy person.  The hair that I have on my body is generally very light in color, very thin and sparse.  I take it all off once a month with the clippers, yes, there too.  The only places I put razor to skin is my head and face.   I am not ashamed to admit that this is a new thing I do since going sly.  It just feels so amazing not having to worry about "hair”.  I just take it all off and it makes me so happy.  My eye brows, moustache and the little tuft under my lip is the only visible hair on my body.

My nose hairs, ear hair, and moustache gets trimmed with a pair of scissors while I bask in the sun at least once a week.

What is it with humans and their obsessions with hair?  I was there too once, but now I see no place for the cultivation of these dead follicles.

If you are a living proof that evolution is true, then I suppose you will deal with your hair in a different way.  My genetics did not have much hair wired into its code.

"Gorilla" sort of describes my wall to wall carpet of body hair. Hate it, but keeping it trimmed would be a fulltime job.

I don't care one way or the other about body hair, except The only body hair that really bothers me is the hair on my lower back.  I shave it off every so often.  Maintaining the dome is enough work!

I find that men who are bald/balding tend to grow more hair elsewhere in some weird places....Funny part is my hair loss is increasing, but the beard you see in my picture is only about 17 days old....Go figure.

Evil stuff, dihydrotestosterone. Makes you grow hair everywhere but your noggin.

Hi there Balddoc

If one has very little hair on the body generally, is that a sign of low testosterone levels in the body?  Basically, is a hairy man more "manly" or "masculine" as he has higher testosterone level than a less hairy man?

LOL Waine! No. All guys (except eunuchs) produce testosterone. Hair follicles contain an enzyme, 5-alpha reductase, which converts testo into the far more potent dihydrotestosterone. Result: body hair and male-pattern pubic hair. Some of us are genetically inclined to respond more vigorously to dht and grow excessive body hair. Ironically, the scalp follicles respond to high dht levels by shrinking and eventually becoming inactive. It takes but a sniff of testo to make you a man. If you have a healthy libido, you have enough.

I have my genes to blame for little body hair. I have learned to embrace it although I am still wishing to have thicker brows and to grow a decent beard. Tsk. Tsk.

Hell, yeah! I'm furry and proud of it.
I agree, I'm a furry teddy bear and when I was a body builder I had to shave for completions and the following weeks after that while the fur grew back were a living hell I scratched so much it looked like I was in a cat fight. I finally gave up the whole body building thing partly because of the whole body shaving issue.

I'm now happy to wear my own fur coat and if someone has an issue with that, well it's there problem- some men were just born to be furry and should be proud of it!
