Gentlemen (especially you JDog), I present to you why 2008 is the year of the Playstation 3: http://www.ps3fanboy.com/photos/ten-reasons-why-the-ps3-is-still-relevant/677507/http://www.ps3fanboy.com/2008/01/07/ps3-games-to-look-for-in-2008/
Quote from: JDog on March 06, 2008, 07:39:19 PMI am tossing up between getting PS3 or Xbox360. I have had my PS2 for nearly 8 years and it still plays like a dream. I love the Sony controller. But I borrowed a 360 from a friend at work for a few weeks and played Gears of War and Halo3 and that sold me on it. I am saving my green and going to decide which one to get soon.I'm surprised the ps2 still works jdoggy from you bashing the crap out of the controller when you get killed!!! its like watching a 10 year old!

I'll be buying a PS3 here pretty soon as I'm about to get my HD TVs. For those of you that play games online check out http://www.gamestrata.com
Tyler, you should check out the samsung tvs. great prices, and they have great reviews
I have really been on the fence with this as I have a PS2 that I have played to death. I want a new system but here is my dilemma... 1 - Xbox 360 has more games right now. 2 - PS3 has alot of "plans" but I have been burned on that line before... yeah, remember Colecovision?3 - A Wii is WAY more social and good times without having to have the dexterity of one of those Mortal Combat champs that used to hang out at 7-11 so my wife and less geeky friends can play too.4 - My gaming time on the HD LCD will not be a ton as that TV is where movies are watched and such.On the other hand - 1- Madden in 1080p2 - SOCOM3 - 1080P gaming, a bag of chips and Heineken for hours4 - Blu-Ray (movies are another hobby of mine) Why must I be faces with such difficult decisions... I feel like Luke Skywalker in Return of the Jedi
