I don't buy Heinz anymore for the pure fact that they switched their recipe to use high fructose corn syrup instead of sugar. Hunts is the same way. Instead I buy some O Organics brand Ketchup. It's only 50 cents more.

Salami and cheese crackers.
We used to make little pizzas by putting some pizza sauce on a ritz or saltine cracker, then a slice or salami with a slice of cheese on top. We'd then cook it in the microwave until the cheese melted. Yummy!
Heck yeah bro. I just did this not too long ago. I got some ritz crackers, pizza sauce, slice of pepperoni, and some cheese. mmmmm good.

I will name several guilty pleasures from childhood. One was Captain Crunch with Crunchberries cereal. I also remember my mom making me mayonnaise sandwiches. It was just the mayo between two slices of bread. When I would go over to my cousin's house, I remember having hot cocoa with buttered toast at the side. Grandma would also make me peanut butter and Premium saltine cracker sandwiches.
As a adult, I have two Canadian guilty pleasures. One is Old Dutch Dill Pickle flavour potato chips. I know that Dill Pickle has been introduced to the US but in the past, I would bring back some whenever I would visit British Columbia. The other food is something called, "Poutine". It is yummy and very bad for you! It is french fried with white cheddar cheese curds and gravy. It is not too well know in the states either!
I would go on, but that is enough for now!
Yo Marsh....you a mayo sandwich eater too? Only we didnt use mayo..we used Miracle Whip. That stuff is good on just about anything. I remember times when i would just take a piece of bologna.....spread some miracle whip on it...roll it up and eat it on the way out the door. Sometimes I would make 3 or 4 of these at one time LOL. And the cap'n crunch berries....dont laugh....but im actually sitting here eating a bowl of em. When I get towards the end of the bowl....i have to make sure I have two berries left and 1 square. LOL

It's not too far off. I don't even notice the difference.

I agree with you Tyler, some of that stuff is too sweet...also makes me think of the family picnic scene in Vacation.
Real tomato ketchup, Eddie?
Nuthin' but the best, Clark.

Well, if ketchup seems a bit "tame" to ya, switch to something with a bit more zing (in the tomato type category, namely salsa!

Going back to youth, I remember peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and dunking them in chicken noodle soup on a cold, wet day.

One of my favorite things as a kid was peanut butter mixed-up with Karo syrup. Spread that stuff on some bread and I was a happy kid.
Now I'm not gonna be able to get that stuff outta my mind until I make some and I don't think it fits with my diet.

mmm Karo syrup that stuff is aweome on pancakes. My dad always uses teh Dark Karo on his pancakes. Just something about it when it is swirled around wth the butter on a nice stack of pancakes. Actually just last weekend I found a store that carried the green label Karo....adn we had pancakes, bacon and sausage for supper one night. I like breakfast food for dinner occasionally, always seems to taste better.
