Hi Magmababe,Robmeister tells me your from England? I have Just joined today & have been made very welcome. Iam from Manchester.

Hi Bungalow Bill and welcome! This IS a great group  ;D
I'm from the Capital...
The last time I was in Manchester was a little while after that bomb went
off, many moons ago....
Question:  why do you guys like mushy peas and gravy with your chips?!!!
I could never quite work that one out, oh yeah, and also, what's with the
deep fried Mars Bars?!!!!

Always good to see a fellow Brit!   :-*

And on the subject of weirdo British food... why in the name of all that is good and holy, would anyone want to eat a freakin' KIDNEY?????  Blech!

Yeah, that aint my cup of tea either!
Nor are jellied eels, how anyone would want to even look at them let alone eat them, is beyond me!!
And, did you know, that LIVER is also eaten here..and black pudding...if you eat that, you might as well just pick someones scabs and munch on them!! hahaha!!

Hi Bungalow Bill another Brit here although pretty close to you actually i am in Holmfirth just over the right side of the lancashire border ;)

Great to see a bigger British contingent on this site.
A SBG's head shines so other SBG's always have the opportunity to see the reflection of how good they look!

Hi everyone. First Magmababe, the deep fried mars bars are a little further North Scotland in fact suppose they have to keep warm somehow wearing kilts. Yes we do like mushy peas with our chips & gravy.

There is one other thing which is a desired taste in this neck of the woods "tripe" which is the lining of the stomach usually cooked up with vinegar & onions, yummy.

Hi Argyle nice to hear from you good to know someone knows what iam going through but feel a lot more positive since joining this site, think the secret is definitely staying with one look & not changing all the time.

Argyle; is that a huge beer bong in your default picture?

Liver, kidneys, and stomach lining?  This is like a preview of the new "Hannibal Rising" movie.  Excuse me while I evacuate the contents of my stomach now.

 :D

Welcome to the forum, Bill!
