I appreciate all the well wishes. If ever there were such a thing, the funeral for my Dad on Friday went very well. The Patriot Guard, a group of volunteer motorcycle people, accompanied the procession with flags waving, followed by dozens of flags waiting at burial site. Full color guard, all Marines, presented the flag to my Mom and played taps (live). Over 400 people showed up for the funeral. We have been blessed with much support from church and family friends.
Thans to all you guys here, you've made this easier to digest. I have my moments as, I guess, anyone would. Went to my best friends farm last nite to let off a little steam. Started talking to Daddy, I know he was listening, on a perfect Red Sky night. When darness came upon us I cried out I Love you Grady Isbell, jr, and no sooner than I finished a shooting star, meteor, comet or something totally a glow went streaking by and I never saw it dim but just kept going. I heard his voice tell me to live and to take good care of my mom, and that I will. The prayers are still helpful and greatly appreciated.
