Johnny's Fitness Goals

When I was at the doctor last week I got on the scale. When I picked myself off the floor after seeing the number, I knew I had to do something. Evidently I had way too many corporate outings this summer. My goal is to get back down to 225-230. I'm at 255 right now.
My goal is to do cardio for at least 45min, 4-5 days/ week. Do my weight training 3-4 days/ week.
I really like this kind of motivation. Not only have I made a major change in my appearance by shaving my head, but this also keeps me going to make a major physique change as well. There's no downside. I look better, feel better and can keep up with my kids better.

I totally agree with you, Johnny: there is no downside to this.
It definitely feels much better being in great shape - both physically and mentally.
I just started on my own diet and workout plan. But I'm so darn clumsy, I hope I won't smash
anything during those aerobics...

Awesome Johnny!
By the way, do you do martial arts at all? I have this constant urge to yell "Put him in a body bag Johnny! hahaha"
Sorry, flashback to the 80's and the Karate Kid.

Update
Last week I was able to get on the treadmill 5 times for 1hr each. So far this week, I've been on twice. The inlaws are here.
I put on a pair of my slacks yesterday for a meeting and they actually fit better, not the best by any means, but better. It's enough to keep up the motivation.

I was on track up until Sat when I can down with a bit of a cold. It put me out for a couple days, but I've powered through. Gotta love the burn of lactic acid build up.
