Thought I better say hello
« on: December 12, 2006, 04:18:06 PM »
I registered a while back and never made a post to say hello. Rob sent me an email today reminding me of that, so I thought I had better.

Im a longtime razor shaver ever since back in 94 when I found out after the US Air Force shaved my head for me, that I was going bald. I didnt even know it was getting thin. Anyhow, I liked how I looked bald so I just kept at it. No longer in the military though. Now I am a firefighter/EMT in Detroit, MI. Firefighting over 10 years now, and all that time as a bald man. I wouldnt even know what it was like to wear my helmet over hair. The thought of it disgusts me...haha.

If I could take a pill to go shinny bald forever without having to shave it again, I would take 2. I found this site on my search of better ways to shave, better blades, etc. I hope to soon find the time to read more here.

Ok...so, there you have it. Another new guy to this fine site. Thank you for having me.

Ill have to get a picture up on here tomorrow. Im at work today/tonight. Gotta love 24 hour shifts.

Also a Firefighter... Just want to say thanks!  I have the utmost respect for firefighters.  Especially in Detroit...  ;D

A big welcome Chadoweasel!  Thanks for returning to the boards and introducing ourselves.  As you can see, a lot has been happening since you registered.

:D Ahoy, Chadoweasel. Welcome to SBGs. Your transition to baldness is the most benign I have ever heard. Most guys agonize  over hair loss, and consider painful and expensive restorations, but you took the totally natural course. You should become a teacher and role model for teenage guys who are suffering hair loss. As a firefighter, you exemplify the link between masculinity and baldness. My daughter has requested the NYFD calendar since 9/11. So I went to B&N to get it. Of the 12 firefighters, four are bald, two apparently by nature, two by choice.I too would take that magic bullet to stay bald and avoiding shaving again. Godspeed, Professor Melon
