So it's your time to shine on stage, what are you singing?

My top 5....


Bonnie Tyler - Total Eclipse of the Heart (only if I'm wasted, and I sing both parts....)
Donna Summer - McArthur Park (and I'll never have that recipe again.... oh no!)
Minnie Riperton - Lovin' You (low voice with occasional schreech)
Rick James + Teena Marie - Fire and Desire (again, only if I'm wasted and I sing both parts....)
Chicago - If You Leave Me Now (Ooooooooh no baby pleeeease don't goooo)

Any song that I'm not singing!

We have karaoke revolution for the PS2 and everytime I play it I confirm a couple things:

1. I should never try out for American Idol
2. I should never play that game in public
3. I should stick to singing in the car, alone.

While I do a bit of singing, mainly in groups and solos at my church, I've only done Karaoke once.  It was while I was on a cruise and it was Lee Greenwoods "God Bless the USA".

Whoa, Mike.  That is my karaoke song.  I go to this little hole in the wall where having a tooth (or several) missing is a requirement.  That is the song I do, and it blows the roof off the place.  I did, however, recently discover that I can't carry a tune.  I'd venture to guess that i might just be worse than TimmJ claims to be.  Anyhow, it was thanks to a video game for the PS2 (i believe might be the same one Tyler is referring to) that made me realize I suck at singing.  But hey, when you're drunk, and so is everyone around you, who cares?!
