The dome feels smoother when use three blades. The only time I'll go with the one blade is when I HAVE to go to the Barber and put the straight razor to it.
Every so often I'll try to use up some of my double bladed HeadBlades and I can't wait to re-load with a tripple blade!
HB trips for the dome and fusion power for the face and dome touch-ups
Die-hard Mach III user, so...
Three blades on the face.
Three blades on the skull.
But I recently traded my HB Sport with a fellow SBG member in exchange for a manual Fusion, so going to give the four blades a try.
I've been using a Fusion razor, so I'm in the four-blade camp. Warhawk, you've mentioned you're a Fusion guy all the way; have you tried other blades, and how do they compare? I have no point of reference, since I've only used the Fusion so far.
Well, i used mach 3 again and it was alright, but it just doesnt cut my hair as easy as with the disposable 2 blades

.
And the result is just the same.
But when i use the 2 bladed on my face it just aint that good as with my mach 3. But then again when i use the 2 bladed on my dome its easier then with my mach 3.
I think ill try the Gillette Sensor and see what comes ou tof it
i like the smooth head and a razor 3 blades is the best for the clean look especially schick extreme 3
I alternate with a few setups. I use the HB and Atra doubles and the HB triples for the dome. The doubles work best for me, then the triples. I have also tried the Sensor double, but it just doesn't get as close.
For the mug, I will use either an Atra or Sensor double, and every so often the Mach III.
I find that with facial hair (goatee), it's much easier to get into those tight areas with a slimmer faced blade (sensor, atra). I find it's much harder to carve with a triple.
