hello fellow chrome domes....i remember my 1st few months on the sly forum.  my wifey....would say loudly:  "MEL....R  U   ON  THAT BALD WEBSITE, AGAIN.  why R  U  chatting with bald men of all things?".  that's what she used 2 say 2 me...until i actually sat down with her and mentioned 2 her that this site is NOT your ordinary internet community.  i told her that this community is like a fraternity of brothers who have that "brotherly love" towards me and everyone.  i also told her that it is more than just a bald site that it is like hanging out with friends who enjoy some good fellowship.  anyways...after that conversation she has never said those words again.   

SO....how 'bout U?  have u been in a similar situation?  does your wifey, gf, bf, or significant other understand your "hanging out" at the sly forum.  what's your story??

Well, as some may have noticed I've not posted much of late here on SBG's. It wasn't so much a partner having a go as me thinkng to myself that I was beginning to spend a little too much time on here & needed to get up off my lazy **s & get some stuff done. Consequently I've been rationing my visits to SBG's to a quick look in the mornings & have laid off posting up much. Still enjoy reading all the posts though when I can.

I wanted to post up again though just to let everyone know that I am still around & will try & post up more when I can.

The Lovely Mrs. Schro finds websites/chat rooms creepy to begin with (all you hear with myspace and facebook is gross pedophile stuff). Plus, she hates the SLY look on me. That all being said, she doesn't really say anything when I'm chatting with y'all.

Absolutely NOT.  She does not get it at all.  Thinks I must be up to something.  Hell, she wouldn’t catch me if I was up to something. 

She is totally computer illiterate, so that may have something to do with it.

I think this must be a wife thing.  At first it was a really big deal with my wife.  I even got the "I'm being replaced by the computer" line a few times.  But she doesn't say to much anymore.  I try to make sure that the time I spend on here doesn't interfere with other things.

My wife at first thought it was a little weird.  She is OK now.  All you hear on the news is how people meet online then come up dead somewhere.  But, you have to use your judgement.  All you guys here are great.  If I wasn't comfortable talking with ya'll I certainly wouldn't have told anyone I was coming to Milwaukee next weekend.

Every once in a while my wife will say "How are your bald friends?"  She just giggles at me.  I told her I made some friends in the snowy north and hopefully would get to meet a couple of them.

Man I'm glad I'm not the only one! Since I'm relatively new to the site, the wife is still getting used to the idea.

I explained to her what the site is about and she actually thought it was pretty cool... but then again, so is she.......

Whats the deal with the wives anyways....I have seen a couple of you in here have mentioned and compared this site to other sites where people "Hook Up".....well is there an underlaying factor here...cause this site is all GUYS...Men...lol.

My wife was sorta the same way.  She is more at ease with it now..at first she was like well I do not understand how a bunch of guys can get together and talk about shaving.  How much shaving are we talking about here ..she asks.  I was like OK MOM! LOL......its just about shaving your head and that isnt all we talk about.  I told her we talk about how we can give each other pointers on how to sneak up on our wives and stick them in plastic garbage bags and how to dispose of their bodies without anyone ever knowing what happen.  LOL....She just gave me that look...y'all know the look im talking about to....her response was Dont get Smart!...........
LOL....so finally I had to sit her down and show her what was going on here.    But I will honestly say if she found out I was in here talking about me wearing Richard Simmons red and whites......she will prolly really raise and eyebrow at me. 
Oh well I have fun, I enjoy it.....and no harm is done in here.....at least I hope not.

We are having a lot of work done on our house right now, so the computer is in a corner of a small room and I don't get to it often I'm sure I'll get the same reaction when it is back in the family room and she sees all the bald guys that keep showing up on the screen
