Young, Sly and full bearded

I am just noticing a trend. Have you noticed more young sly guys who are growing full beards? While I have a full beard, I would consider myself to be more in the middle age category (or is that old fart?), although I feel like I think pretty young. Or am I just immature? Anyway, there are a three fellows in my church who are sly and either have or had a full beard with the shaved head. Kyfho has a good representation of what I mean. Also, while not a totally full beard, SlickShane is doing the bigger than the VanDyke look. Anyway, have any of you noticed a possible trend?

I've been there and done it. No more facial scruff for me. At least for a while.
It is my opinion that most "young" headshavers are currently opting for the Mr Clean look. Even Agassi axed his trademark scruff and is the epitome of Mr. Clean. But then again, he's not a "young" sly guy any more.
As for you Marsh, and SlickShane whom you've mentioned, you both wear your beards well. That look seems to suit the two of you bearded slys!

Marsh, If I could grow a full beard I would. My facial hair only grows in the "Van Dyke" areas so I've opted for just some chin hair. I think a full beard with a Sly dome is a good look.
Our fellow SBG Scott from Kentucky I believe is in the process of growing a full beard.

I think that guy on American Idol started that a couple of years ago. Daughtry I think was his name. I and my wife prefer the smooth face.

For me it started with the beard...I've always had some sort of facial hair, and I often work hard to sculpt it a certain way. Before going sly it was my main way of altering my appearance. Since I scraped I just decided to keep the full beard (which I've had for about 5 years now, before it was 'burns and a goat). I am now working on filling my beard out a bit further...something closer to Justin Foley [drummer] of Killswitch.Engage...since I've been using the same sculpt for about 6 months (hard to see in the pic, but I have grown it to a point reminiscent of Leonidas from 300 or any Greek bust you've ever seen).
I don't really watch reality TV but after reading the posts I looked up a pic of Chris Daughtry and I can see the similarity
For what it's worth, I (obviously) enjoy the look.

I've had a beard for over 30 years; so it's been hard to get rid of it permanently.
I've tried a lot of looks since going sly; but the beard seems to be staying part of it

I still have the goat although the mic is blocking it in my pic.
I think my next will be clean. Soon the heat of the south will be here and I can't imagine having a beard in the wonderful humidity I love/hate. If I was more northern I'd probably sport one though.

I just remembered why I started this thread. In addition to the fellows that I had mentioned earlier, there is a fellow who is a new warehouse guy at another store that my carpet company operates. Last week when I saw him, he had no facial hair but had a bit of recession on the head. He then made a positive comment about my shaved head and that he had shaved his before. I then told him about HeadBlade and associated products. So this week, when he made a delivery to my store, he was sly and full bearded! He is 25 and a pretty cool dude, though I am old enough to be his dad. But I just had to get a feel of the noggin. He did a good job in shaving it. But he serious shadow and has yet to lose some in the back. But he wanted to embrace the sly look since the front is going away!

I had huge sideburns in middle school, and a full beard through highschool until now
