Beef, there's plenty of guys here that like the shine.  The best products for shine are HeadLube Glossy and Bald Guyz Sunscreen.  Though, the Bald Guyz moisture gel should give you a decent shine.

Beef, Welcome to SBG. I use the Bald Guyz moisture gel and do use the wipes. The moisture gel will give you some shine but the wipes are better for "refreshing" your scalp keeping it smooth in mid-day.
I can say that when I was on a trip in December I picked up the headblade glossy lube I saw at a CVS and that stuff gives one hell of a shine. Looked like I stuck my head in a bowling ball polisher!! So if your looking for extreme shine, thats a great product for you to try...

Thanks Champ!!

I got an important question...Someone told me that the head blade deosnt go as close as the razor and unless i did something wrong...that really seems true...I went out and bought it along with all these extra blades..I dont want to just get rid of it...It did feel good on my injured area so that is a plus. Anyone know if im doing something wrong, or does it just not get that close...left a lot of sprigs.

Thanks

Beef-

I'm a HeadBlader. First shave with the grain and then flip it around and shave against the grain......your head will be as smooth as a babies butt..........

beef....i just wanted say that i'm glad your okay from the injury.  i absolutely like your positive attitude.  if u don't get any good results from the headblade, u might want 2 try the fusion (manual).  it gets my dome the smoooothest. Beef, here is a great post on using the headblade http://www.slybaldguys.com/smf/index.php?topic=4296.0
Give it a few tries before you throw in the towel. Its good to hear that its not irritating your scalp as much as a razor!

Hey Beef, what blade is on your headblade?  Is it the triple or the double blade?  The triple will not get as close of a shave as the doubles.  Also, if you want an even closer shave, give the Gillette Sensor or Gillette Atra blades a try on the HeadBlade.

Blades last me 7 days or 7 shaves.

It said on the package that it takes the gillete atra so i bought like 3 packs of them...Is that correct?

I bought the gillete atra plus...it says to use those on the package...will they give me a close shave? Isnt that what comes on the headblade anyway? Or does something else come on the headblade?

Yeah, that's correct, it takes the Gillette Atra and Atra Plus blades.

There's a different blade (the HeadBlade blade) that comes with it.
