Found out last night that Mater's days are numbered. I was changing the oil after work and discovered the headgasket has blown again. Less than a year after it was fixed. Decided I'll just drive it till it stops then maybe find a small block to put in it.

Awesome, you're a SAAB-Fan! Had a 99 1978-1983, a 900 1983-1989, another 900 1989-1991; when our daughter, our fourth child came we needed a VW T4 - another T4 is still our family-car, I drive since 2004 a 9-3 convertible. Hamburg is in Germany THE CONVERTIBLE-TOWN!!!

Oh yeah - the wife has a 2004 Pacifica. Nice car actually, all the room of a minivan but without the stigma. LOL

I was checking those out a few years ago while waiting for the wifes old car (BTW, she drives a 05 BMW 330i now) to get fixed... I was very impressed with this automobile.

Me too. I love wagons, hence the WRX "wagon", but the pacifica was outa-my-price range.

I have the 06 escape with the sport and tow package.
Second day I had it had to replace all the speakers in it and drop an amp under the passanger seat.
Nothing like a little thump in your ride

The Pacifica is awsome. We have a dual monitor DVD player in it. We headed off to Charleston, SC a couple of years ago and brought 3 DVDs and stopped one time for gas. 5 hours later we were there and the kids didn't even think it had been that long. Great trip and very comfortable.

Actually, in addititon to the rollerblades, big wheel & pogo stick, the Lovely Mrs. Schro & I have a 1997 Acura 3.0 CL and a 1994 Toyota V6 4Runner. To me, a car is nothing more than transportation, especially now that we have two kids. I love our cars and (knock on wood) they are still running well.
