Greetings from the Deep South
« on: December 10, 2006, 10:21:12 PM »
Hi, my name is Clay.  I am balding naturally.  I started using clippers with no guard about a year ago.  It leaves about 1/8 or 1/16 of an inch of hair (enough to see).

I recently started shaving it down to the scalp.  I usually let it grow a week or so before I do it again.  It's nice to have some other bald brethren out there to hang with!  I look forward to spending some time here.

Thanks

Clay, welcome to Sly Bald Guys!  We have some other bald brothers here from the south.  Where abouts are you from?

:D Ahoy, Clay. Welcome to the sly community. Although a northerner, I appreciate most things southern, especially the climate now that it has turned bitter cold up here. SBG has made, and continues to make, a significant contribution to my new (only five weeks) bald identity. The accumulated experience, good humor, and fellowship of the guys always provide high points in my day. So welcome aboard! Professor Melon

Welcome, Claymeister!!

I lived in the deep south from 1993 - 1997 (Columbia, SC) and then 2001 - 2003 (Fort Lauderdale, FL).

Either of those close to your domicile?

Good to hear from you Clay! My family has roots in the south and I have a few friends from high school who now reside there. Glad you made the decision. Look forward to your future posts.

Hi Clay, welcome to the group!  I lived in Columbus, Georgia a few years, and the wife and I absolutely love it.  We talked about moving back to Atlanta but no action so far.   :( :-\ ??? >:(

Thanks for the welcome!  I live in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.  Go Tigers!  Be sure and pull for the LSU Tigers when they play Notre Dame in the bowl game.

I just shaved my head tonight.  This is the closet I have ever gotten it.  I love the HeadBlade, but I think I just like the idea of it better.  I like neat products and like to support inventors/entrepreneurs.... however I think I have more control with a regular stick disposable.
