So yeah, mine isn't really just one date, but 2 of them.  So 3 years ago a friend of mine told me that she had a friend that really wants to meet me.  She had told the friend a lot about me and so after I she tells me about her and shows me a picture, I thought this was too good to be true.

So I call her and the next night we went out.  I took her to this nice fancy restaurant on the top of a 10 story building that overlooks the river, marina and base of lake Huron.  Classiest place in a small town.  We are there for hours and it's great.  Here I am thinking this girl is too good to be true.  So I take her home and she tells me to call so we can do that again.  Great!  Two days later, I call and shesays that she doesn't feel like going out, but that I should go over and hang out with her.  I get to her house and we go inside to some people playing poker having a few drinks.  Kids running around playing, adults drinking having a good time.  All is good right?  So the next day I head out to do my groceries, and as I'm walking along with my cart I see her off in the distance with 3 young kids, the oldest of which was 6.  I hear one of them start crying yelling 'but mommy I wanna go to the park!'  Now, I have no problem with children, and in fact have dated women with children in the past and will do so again in the future.  After I left the grocery store I call my friend who set us up and I start asking some more in depth questions.  So this is what I find out:  She is actually only 21 but the girl told me 24; 3 kids from 3 fathers, each of whom left her cause supposedly she was crazy.

So after hearing that, I give her a call and do the whole very nice polite easy let down.  From what I gather she took it well, then a few days later I'm getting back home to my building from working all night and there she is walking by pushing a stroller on the sidewalk.  She waves so I go over to say hello.  We talk and she says to call sometime to 'just hang out.'  I kind of stutter and mumble an 'ok whatever' and head inside.  The next morning I'm getting in from work again, and there she is again, this time not so nice, she starts to yell and ask why I didn't call.  I tell her I said things won't work and we can't see eachother then I head inside.  After sleeping the day, I wake up to see both my cell and home phone have about a dozen calls each, all from the same number, HERS!  I call her and again tell her that I don't want to see her anymore and to please stop calling me.  Two hours later I go to leave to shoot some pool with some friends, and she's in the parking lot of the building sitting on the bench and she again freaks out on me.  I tell her to leave me alone and jump in my truck and tear off out of there.  That continued every day for a week until I finally went up to her one day, on my way out to work, in full uniform and flipped!  I told her that she is stalking me and I'm getting tired of it and will arrest her and get a restraining order if I ever see her near my building again.

All is quiet for 3 days then she shows up again and the calls start again.  So, one restraining order and a few hundred in legal fees later, I finally had my peace and quiet.

No more blind dates for this guy unless I do a very in depth background check!
