Random Question
« on: December 07, 2006, 11:05:47 PM »
Hello again, for most who noticed, I just signed up a few days back and already posted. I have another question to any one who feels able to answer it.

Like earlier stated, My father and grandfather are (semi?)-bald. (Hair on the sides)

Now I would like to know, when my top part of my hair starts to get really bad or say just was bald, If i shave the side will it look completely gone or will you notice little stubbles that show I have hair there, just not on top?

Even though I like Vic Mackey in The Shield, I wouldn't want that "I can see he's bald, but he shaves" look.

Any Answers?

P.s. Professor, I tried to make my grammar a little better :p

That really all depends on the color of your hair and your skin tone.  But, with the razors we have today and the tips you'll learn on this site, I'm sure you can find a way to eliminate most of the "shadow."  Too be honest, most people will not notice it unless you grow it out for a day two after shaving.  If they do notice, they won't care and will most likely respect you more for taking the leap.
People are not limited by the circumstance that they are born in. They are limited by the size of their dreams. Show them that their dreams can have no limits and in turn their accomplishments can be limitless.

I agree with Tyler, Fate.  Now, I haven't yet shaved my plate [I have a deal with my wife that when I lose 15 lbs I do it--but that's another posting]....but I know a few guys who have the MPB that you speak of.  And when they are dilligent to maintain a really healthy close shave, you can't see the balding pattern.  Only when they skip a day does it emerge.  By "healthy" is meant they take care to follow steps, like exfoliating, moisturizing, sun blocking and other skin care protective measures and it makes for a nice chromedome.

This posting site is a great resource for all those "healthy plate" remedies and products.  When I lose the 15 lbs and shave my head, I will be all boned up with a lot of knowlege and techniques, so it won't be trial and error thanks to picking these nice sly-guy's brains and brousing around previous posts.

Welcome!
