WELL... its colder here in michigan than Timmj's red n whitey's on a clothesline in minnasoata. I went in the basement , after coming in from working outside the otherday, and i kept seeing lil poofs of looked like smoke. My buddy says "Damn pork , u ok ? your heads SMOKIN !" and it was ! I was so hot n sweaty that when i took off my cap and the basement was cool , i WAS smokin . ITs SUPPOSED to get down in the single digits fr the HIGH this weekend, and then bck in the mid 20's for next week , but he** D**N it was 60 last weekendish . I remember when i was a kid, at this pont of winter we had 8/9" ruts in the street n if u didnt have 4wheel drive ya kept ya A** in the house
I dig the cold but I do have to at least wear a ball cap.
I have experienced snow falling on my dome and it ended up wet and cold (in a good way).
Here I am braving the cold of Whistler B.C. last week
Love the winter, hate summer. Never wore a hat before going sly, don't wear one now except in extreme cold/wind, and then only to shovel snow. Hell don't even wear a coat till it goes subzero. Was 8 degrees when I left for work today in my jeans and sweatshirt.
B-A, A hurricane in the south is just another reason for a party!!!
Then I guess I better plan a trip in the height of the season...save me a place at one of the bolted down, hurricane proof barstools!
If it's a respectable hurricane, we might not need to shave, it could blow the domes smooth and bright! Besides, you don't need a hat in a hurricane, no frostbite, etc. And, unlike tornadoes, earthquakes, tsumanis, etc., you generally know they're coming so you can get out of the way if you want to. You just need to get in a good supply of ice for toddies and dome rubs when the power is out. W/ gas, you get hot water to shave. Yup, hurricanes are survivable, and if mild--enjoyable party time.
I love a nice harsh winter but also love summer ... I've not worn hats in the past, but had to get a few to keep my bald head warm during my first sly winter.
Last week while snowblowing my driveway my daughter came running out of the house toward me in a tizzy. She said "what's wrong with your head"? Apparantly, while fighting with my ever-clogging snowblower, I'd built up a sweat and my head was steaming from the top.... I should've gotten a picture of that.

I'm with you bro, I hate the summer too

that makes three of us.
Try four...Although due to this Northern cold snap I now find myself newly sly (1 week) and buying beanies and knit caps like it's going out of style. Also, I work 3rd shift at a less than warm manufacturing facility, so I need almost constant dome protection while I make the adjustment from hair to clean.
