I am not a huge fan of reality television (RTV) , the only RTVshow i watch is ultimate Fighter and it's strickly to see those boys train like it's going out of style and fighting, i like trying to pin point the next winner and what not.
But a new RTV program i noticed this weekend on TLC really made me sigh. Miss America Live, now from my understanding of what i saw on the comericals was, the girls have challenges to complete (over and above the true competion) and than the US can vote on a finialist. That's not the competition, at all.
Cause i remember as a kid watching Miss America on NBC or ABC, or CBS and cheering for one contestant all the way and her losing, near the end. And thinking that sucks we the people should have more say, but now that i'm old and realize that the judges judge cause that's what they do, and that's life.
Ahh well just a little dissapointed i enjoyed that show.
guess i'll have to watch miss canada and all 30 minutes of it (only 9 provinces and 3 territories.)
We're all just getting older!
Nothing is "as good as it used to be", Frosty. Like ANdre said, we are all getting older.
I remember when..........

Hey, I think I'll start a new thread!
I remember when..........
he remembers when dirt was invented.
he remembers when dirt was invented.
I'm not quite that "mature" (we don't use "the 'O' word" around our house), and my memory isn't what it used to be, but my kids keep reminding me about riding south on a glacier and ending up in Ohio...

I wonder if you know my old man, he got off the glacier in Nova Scotia.
