I'm shopping around for a pair of Bausch & Lomb Wayfarers in black (Blues Brothers). I have some B&L Aviators with dark green lenses and wraparound temples and a couple of pairs of Gargoyles. But I really want them Wayfarers!

My eyes are very light sensitive and sunglasses are a necessity for me when I'm outdoors in the sun. My eyes don't adjust to intense light (and they've probably gotten worse with sunglasses acting as a crutch), and I will get a splitting headache if I spend a significant amount of time out in the sun without protection.
I like the wrap-around glasses. They look the best and perform the best. I'm not a fan of the aviator sunglasses due to the way they look, but mainly because they fail in their responsiblity to block out sunlight. If I'm wearing sunglasses I do not want to see the blinding Florida sun! PERIOD! I don't want my field of vision to be a nice shaded area enclosed within a ring of blinding sunlight. Maybe aviators have changed since the 80s, but that classic style is one I can live without.
The worst part about sunglasses is that the 10 year old trend to make traditional eyewear as ugly as possible has finally infected sunglasses. Case in point:

It's like someone decided to quadruple the size of sunglasses and style themas femininely as possible. Awful. Truely awful. They're everywhere anymore and I almost want to laugh when I see a guy wearing those ridiculous things. I can tolerate styles that I don't like, but these mega-sunglasses are so absurd that they belong in the same category as those supersized baseball hats and pants that hang around a person's knees.

I love sunglasses but im cursed with bad vision. So i have yet to find a good looking solution to keep my glasses whislt being protected from the sun
I have transition lenses right now but they only work outside. And i need sunglasses most in the car. I thought about buying a pair of the special kind that fit over regular glasses but they just looked stupid to me, and prescription glasses are too expensive for me
oh woe is me
anyone have a solution to this of sun glasses that just naturally are pretty good at fitting over regular glasses?
My brother has a some nice frames that have a set of sunglasses that pop around the front of the frame of his Rx glasses. They are held on by magnets or something. I like them. They are pretty common. I have contacts so I don't have any. I have a bunch of cheapies, but I would like to get a nice pair of sunglasses. I really like Crown Deluxe. Plus they are prescription grade frames.

Sticking with my $10 Wal-Mart clip-ons. They work well enough, don't look too bad, and save a ton of $$$ since I couldn't afford keeping up on both my regular glasses and prescription sunglasses.

I've got a few different kinds but mostly prefer wrap-arounds or anything that's close fitting...I'm wearing the cheapo's from Gander Mountain in my pic.
Ray-Ban Aviator (replaced twice under warranty, don't wear anymore)
Ray-Ban Wayfarer (don't wear)
Oakley Flak Jacket black frame/polarized black lens
(2) Gander Mountain Fisherman Alloy Matrix silver frame/blue mirrored lens
