hi from Oregon
« on: January 06, 2008, 03:26:14 PM »
hi everyone been lurking here for a while and thought i would say hi and thank you all for all of the support that you give everyone and the information and help.been shaving my dome for a little over a year and as i am not bald by choice i think even if i could still grow a full head of hair i would still shave it off.it is soooo coool and have done everything to make it more enjoyable. i even went so far as to remodel my bath as i am a sink shaver. i even put a separate heater in there so i can be nice and toasty when i shave the dome as it can get pretty chilly here in Oregon.cant cut any costs when you do something that you enjoy.  looking forward to being more of a poster and join in on the fun. 8)

Randy, welcome!  I'm glad to see you posting up.  Looks like we have two guys from Oregon in one day!

Spent a lot of time in Southern Oregon growing up. My dad grew up in Gold Hill (1/2 way between Grants Pass & Medford). We'd go up there annually for a golf tournament and vacation. I love So. OR. The Lovely Mrs. Schro & I bought a piece of property at Klamath Lake and may retire up there (long ways off, but nice to plan).

Anyway, glad Oregon is well represented on SBG.

yeah that is some good area and i think land is still reasonable there. im going to go down in that area and do some goose and duck hunting there next year and maybe try this year if i can find a guided trip before the season is over.
