I was just wondering what phobia's were out there. I came across mine again last night. I was eating a popsicile...something i very rarely eat...and the wooden sticks they are on. I will not in anyway shape or form let that stick touch my tongue. I cant stand it...even those wooden spoons you use to get in those little ice cream cups. ECKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKk damn makes me shiver thinkign about it them. I know it may not really be a phobia to others..but to me.....if i see a wood popsicle stick or a wood spoon....i wont look back at them. I know it sounds crazy.....and please....dotn fill my mailbox full of wooden spoons or sticks. I dont even really like tooth picks either. When i see soemoen sucking on a toothpick...i want to go and pull it out and throw it down.

I wouldn't exactly call it a phobia, but I also have an aversion to the feel of those wooden popsicle sticks/ice cream spoons against the tongue. Snakes and heights are my two main phobias. I even have a hard time looking at snakes on TV sometimes.

Any kind of reptile grosses me out. Snakes, frogs, turtles, lizards. I wont have anything to do with them.
I also have a thing with dirty dishes in the sink. Its like OCD there cannot be a dirty dish in the sink.
Also people with stuffed up noses who sit there and sniff and snort. Blow you nose!!!
Hmm those really arent phobias more like pet peeves

I scream like a little girl and run whenever I see big cockroaches. Stems from cleaning my uncle's water tank when I was eight. I went in while it was dark and damp. Cousin hands me a light and I see myself surrounded by a horde of the little critters. Freaked the hell out of me and affects me to this day.
Funny though. I can deal with snakes, rats, spiders and even get rid of bigger and more threatening insects but I can't seem to deal with roaches.

Heights has gotta be the biggest for me. A couple of years ago, I decided to put Christmas lights up on the front of my house. We have a 2 story with a very high peak in the front. I had my 20 foot extension ladder out and was standing on the top rung of the ladder and still couldn't reach the top of the peak. I don't mind saying I was terrified and and thought I was gonna die. So, I climbed down and told my wife that the lights were just not gonna work. So, she climbed up the ladder and put the staple in for the top of the peak. That was the last time we did lights on the front of the house.

I can totally relate to that.

Well, I think I know how we can keep Timmy from coming to your house in his Red and White's - hang popsicle sticks on the door...LOL Sorry Timmy, I couldn't resist!
As for me, just keep a snake on your doorstep and I won't be showing up. The funny thing is I joined a fraternity who's mascot is a snake. Half the guys had them in their room as pets.

my big fears are tight spaces( i couldn't spell the word for it) and heights and flying, with the last 2 its not the heights and the flying, its the sudden stop at the ground that sucks.

Bring on the cockroaches, snakes, confined spaces and heights. Just keep me away from clowns and mimes.
