Hedburg was awesome! Here are some of his liners:
"Alcoholism is the only disease you can get yelled at for having. 'Damn it, Otto, you're an alcoholic.' 'Damn it, Otto, you have lupus.'..... One of those two doesn't sound right."
"Wearing a turtle-neck is like being strangled by a really weak guy...all damn day! In fact, if you wear a backpack and a turtle-neck, it's like a weak midget trying to bring you down!"
"My hotel doesn't have a 13th floor because of superstition...but you people on the 14th floor, you know what floor you're really on."
"My friend asked me if I wanted a frozen banana, and I said 'No, but I want a regular banana later....so, yeah.'"
"I like escalators because they can't break down. They can only temporarily become stairs."
I saw a human pyramid once. It was very unnecessary. It did not need to exist.
Whenever somebody hands me a flier, it's like they're saying, "Here, *you* throw this away."

I haven't been out there yet. The clubs don't pair for you airfare and its hard enough getting them to pay for for a motel. Maybe if I get som extra cash. Actually, I might be doind small tour to the midwest in the summer of 07. I'll keep you posted.
Midwest tour?!?! Definitely hit the northern burbs of Chi-town!!!

Well Denver, is a bit expensive for me. I'm not on comedy central yet and after flight, room and food, sometimes it costs me money to do a gig.
I just did chicago last summer so I will hopefully do it again in September 07.
I'm still working on a schedule.

For stand up comedy I really like Dylan Moran, he's brilliant, an Irish guy... big fan. Look for his DVD "Monster".
Also Bill Bailey, George Carlin, Dane Cook and Mark Day.
Used to dig Robin Williams and Eddie Murphy from their stand up days.

I'll go along with Mitch. He was a Mpls guy. I love catching his stuff on XM 150. "We never give the sesame seed its full potential. But what is a Sesame........its a way to open things and .........a street!!
Man I love that bit.
Dane Cook is another funny dude.

Yeah, Chicago is cool and the lay-days are great. They are much friendlier than NYC.
(But I love the NYC attitude.)
I have some great stories about lawn chairs in Chicago if you get a few beers in me.
