Frostillicus's fitness and lack there of
frostillicus123:
So it's about time I admit it to my sly brother. I'm a fat sack of crappy and have totally let myself go. I'm 5'6 and well over 250 lbs probably weighing in closer to 300.... Which is grotesquely over weight; Keep in mind my frame supports 200lbs with 14% body fat so I’ll never be 135 which is what the “pros” deem I should weigh.
So why am I telling you all this? Well basically its accountability. I now have to meet fitness goals for the boys, not just my self. So like it or not fellas you are my motivation, or at least my police. I am going to start tomorrow, and work out everyday before work for 2 hours, doing just cardio.
My fitness plan is pretty simple… Cardio until I hit 250, than after I hit 250 I’ll start back with the weights, doing a fully body workout 3 days a week, and cardio 6 or 7.
I know that if I maintain a healthy diet and stick to this plan I’ll be able to walk around at 200 come the end of 2008. So let’s see if I can reach my goal.

i can get HC into some running shoes and make her run ahead of you to keep you motivated to keep up on your cardio. ;)
j/k bro. you know we are here for ya. hell i am planning on getting a little more serious myself. although i did manage to quit smoking this year, which was huge for me. now it is time to get into some shape other than round.

Frost I am in a similar boat myself. But keep at it, exercise a lot and eat healthy and the weight will fall off.
Good Luck mate.
Tyler:
Do it Frosty! As you get into the 30+ years it's harder to get that fat off. Plus, you have to start worrying about cholesterol, blood pressure, and crap like that.

I like your idea of cardio till 250, then turn that fat into muscle, An old Zen proverb I saw in an Arnold Schwarzenegger book: "The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step."
