TJ, it looks awesome brother.  You already have lost that 'old guy' look that the horseshoe gives people.  Your head shape looks really good too.  Now, go get that razor, and take it to the next level.  I can already see the confident new look on your face.  Way to go!
How is that Hopey / Changey thing working for you?

Really rocking it now tj.  But gotta warn you, you won't be happy now till it is slick smooth, so you may as well give in now and get 'er done before the new year.

Welcome and congratulations, TJ. The SBGs are right. That smile on your face will get even bigger once you give the dome the once over with a good razor. You look like you're happy with the buzzed tight results...and BALDANDRE did another awesome photo transformation. Enjoy that "numb" feeling on your head once you go for it...it doesn't last too long.

Is there anyone else that feels the same way...that you sorta wish you could experience that "numb" feeling again?  I wish I could.

I'm also soon going to have to join the ranks of the Sly Bald Guys!  I've been losing my hair for several years (decades really) and just don't feel lkie looking like som many other mid-forty age men in my community.  I currently have what little hair I have left buzzed to 1/4 inch and just don't feel ready to let the rest go.

Good Luck to you Andrew!

Dej, welcome to Sly Bald Guys!  You've already made the first step by joining up here.  Now it's just time to give the ol' shave a try.  With a 1/4 inch buzz right now, it wouldn't take you long to grow that back if you don't like the look.

Thanks, I'm really working on it!  I'm not comfortable with the little hair I have and usually wear ball-caps everywhere including in the office or when eating out.  This is getting old and I'm not sure I want to continue.  Maybe the next trip to the barber will be shorter than the 1/4 inch just so I get a better feel for what a totally smooth noggin will be like.

Welcome dej to the forum.   While you may not feel comfortable NOW with the little hair you have left you WILL see a jump in comfort AND confidence when you do decide to go sly.   Being sly brings an entirely new perspective to your life and once you embrace it you will experience a freedom and confidence you hadn't know before.

DEJ.....even though you go to the barber and get it cut shorter.....you will not experience the full effect unless you just shave it off.  It is just hard to convience someone of that, because take a person like yourself, you have never experienced a smooth noggin.  I am sure all of us who are slick now...probably thought the same thing...well i will just shave it down really really short to see if I like it.  Well that does not compare to taking it all the way down.  Once you do it, you get a sense of relief and its that initial reaction from yourself that is priceless.  I just wanted to say to anyone who is thinking about going completely smooth, just do it, you wont regret it at all.  Look at all of us, we did it without regrets.  The key thing is though, do it when you are ready.  No one can force you to do it.  Good Luck and hope to see some pics of you and your SLY SLICK NOGGIN.

Trip to the barber? Grap some clippers and go to town. You will love it, trust me.
