Just a quick note, I am back on the wagon with my eating habits.  I HAVE to get back to the gym.  But as of this morning, I have lost 28 pounds!  217, down from 245!

Great going, marsh! You've only got 4 pounds to go to catch up to me (31 pounds down)!

Fantastic, really great.  I bet you're feeling a lot better too.  Keep it up--you are really doing the work and getting great results.  Take a bow O0.

As of this morning, I have lost THIRTY pounds!!!!  I have noticed the tummy getting a little bit smaller.  I have had some notice the weight loss and I am less tired!

Congrats! I gained a pound so you have now officially caught up with me (not that there was a race or anything!)

The only bad part is now I need to go out and buy new pants -- most of mine no longer fit.

Or maybe push back from the table & follow Marshd1000's awesome example? >:D  You're setting the mark Marshd1000, they'd better shape up.

Or maybe pay attention to what's been posted instead of shooting your mouth off?

The reason my pants no longer fit is because I've lost 30 pounds.

For dress pants (as opposed to jeans or chinos) you could have them altered. For a significant loss like yours it might be major surgery on the pants, but worth it cost-wise.

(I'm speaking from experience here. Some years ago I worked off 50 pounds (took me two years). I've since gained back about 20, but I've been able to maintain that weight for some time. At some point along the way I had a bunch of dress pants altered. Near the destination weight, though, I did have to do pretty much a full wardrobe replacement.)

Yes, it's the dress pants that I'm mostly worried about. Luckily I have a pretty good tailor nearby. I just need to go through my closet, trying each pair on and figuring out which ones I can get away with and which need to be tailored.

The good news is that there are a few pairs that were a bit tight on me that now fit perfectly.

I look forward to getting some new clothes.  But I will probably be shopping at Target instead of Nordstrom!          ;D ;D ;D

Maybe you could hook up with the Army and get a few shirts like BB.

That'd be a lot of work just to get a T-shirt!  8)
