As you can see from my new avatar, my boys got me a SBG's t-shirt for Christmas. I thought that was pretty cool. My wife and I agreed to only buy each other a token gift. She bought me a sweater. It's nice, but relatively inexpensive. Just the way I like it. I also got some gift cards from other family members. We still have one more Christmas get-together over new years weekend. Not a whole lot of gifts, just being together for the holidays and my inlaws usually just do cash. My best presents will probably be the ones I get to buy for myself after everything is over.
So what did you get for Christmas? (good or bad)....

I got a nice check from my parents, a lot of Under Armour stuff and a new watch. I've been needing a new dress watch for a while now. My previous one is the one I got for my high school graduation and a bit out of fashion now.
My dad asked me if anything needed to be exchanged. I asked if I could exchange the check for a larger one. He said no, but you can't blame a guy for trying.

One of my dogs got into a box of caramels that was left unattended on the coffee table. I think she snarfed down about three of them. So far she seems to be doing OK. I hope we can get through the night without her getting sick.
Hope everyone else had a great day.

A nice day with the family at Chateau Schro! We did not go overboard, by design. Later in the afternoon, Myself, the Lovely Mrs. Schro, and our two kids went golfing. We had a great time, it was cold, but sunny. For dinner, I smoked some cornish game hens, very tasty. The kids got some nice clothes, a new Wii game, and a few other items that they were pleased with. Later today, my two brothers (one is married), his wife and their son are coming into town for two days. Should be good for some laughs.

Do I really have to tell everything I got? I got way more than expected. First of all my christmas started on sunday. My parents took me and my wife to play Bingo...something that I am not very fond of...but they were paying for it..so I went. Glad I did...cause I ended up getting a bingo and won $400, it was a nice bonus for cash. I also got MY HEADBLADE in the mail, pajama pants, a new watch, wallet, cologne, a weather radio, 4 new shirts, 3 pairs of jeans, socks, a heated ice scraper, a hoodie, candy, a mexican family gave me some homemade tequlia...which is questionable...but i took it anyways...lol ( its the thought that counts)...and time with my family. Oh I almost forgot....I have my friends here.. in SBG

All was good at the Herron household. Our whole family came on on Christmas Eve, good food, fun and presents for the kids.

The most noticeable thing I got for Xmas was a limp. We had my wife's family (27 people) over for Xmas eve dinner and although it was fun, it was ALOT of work. They don't really help at all and expect to be waited on, never mind the giant mess they left behind .... Then one smashed their car into another's while backing out, so I just spent a few hours cleaning up all the glass (and cigarette butts) on my driveway.
Xmas day was much better - leasurely day at my sister's house. It was fun giving presents to all the kids, both xmas eve and day. I pretty much got clothes, boots, tools, and other household stuff.
We gave my daughter an awful lot, but she was appreciative, so that was nice. It's nice surprising them with things they wanted but didn't think they'd get.
