Pittsburgh bald guy
« on: December 17, 2007, 08:25:25 AM »
Hi everyone, and thanks for the site.  Looks like a great place to get help for new and old shavers alike.

I had been thinking about shaving for over a year, and my haircuts kept getting shorter and shorter.  I finally took the plunge last month, and couldn't be happier.  I started with a Mach 3 Turbo, but am now using a HB Sport, and getting better everyday.  I also just started trying King Of Shaves AlphaGel ASC Active Skin Cleansing Shaving Gel, with King Of Shaves Oil underneath it.  I am still working out the kinks, and have some spots and burn after, but it seems to be getting under control.  I use BaldGuyz Moisture Gel afterwards.

I was really surprised on the (mostly) positive comments so far from friends and family, I was a little worried about that at first.

I look forward to getting help from you all, and hopefully giving some help as I get better at this whole shaving thing.

Kinks, spots and burn will soon fade and become the adventures of the past.

Oakley, welcome to Sly Bald Guys!
People are not limited by the circumstance that they are born in. They are limited by the size of their dreams. Show them that their dreams can have no limits and in turn their accomplishments can be limitless.
