CHRISTMAS shopping: finished, not finished, or haven't started...

hello fellow chrome domes..... hope everyone is doing fine.  i wanted 2 know if u guys were finished, not finished, haven't started, or a last minute shopper with your CHRISTMAS shopping.  i'll start:  i haven't started but i will start my shopping 2nite and probably complete everything by next week.

so.... how 'bout u?  finished?  not finished? haven't started? or last minute shopper?  what's your story?

Finished, wrapping today, and then kick back in front of the fire and begin consuming the holiday beverages.

The kids are all taken care of and packages are wrapped and under the tree, thanks to the faithful and lovely Mrs. Meister.

Just gotta pick up a couple things for Mrs. Meister and we're all set.  Maybe a Lexus or somethin'

All the shopping is done, except for the Mrs.  We agreed that we wouldn't spend alot on each other. Just do a token gift.  Still got most of the wrapping left to do.  It's a cold snowy day here, so it's sounds like a time to do stuff like this around the house.  Maybe by tomorrow I'll be able to say I'm finished.

It just seems stupid to spend money on stuff when we buy what we really want for ourselves during the year.  A couple of years we've bought something for "the house" or something we both wanted.

I'm playing it safe this year, since I'm still somewhat of a newlywed.



One of the guys here suggested that I buy my wife a Prada wallet
and fill the credit card slots with gift cards...one for Macy*s spa, one for Starbucks, one for i-Tunes, Barnes and Nobles...you get the idea...stuff she can treat herself to throughout the year.
