The _____VILLE GAME...
« on: December 13, 2007, 12:10:07 PM »
hello fellow chrome domes... hey... i wanted 2 start a game and i think we can also learn from it.  it might improve our geographical knowledge.  well... i call this game
"NAME A _____VILLE".  2 play u must enter only ONE entry per post.  here goes.... the participant will name a city/town of any state/or even country that ends with VILLE.  u must include the city/town with the state or country.

i'll start:  since i live in florida..... i will contribute: Jacksonville, Florida
i wonder how many cities/towns that we can come up with.  let the game begin.......

We used to go by a town called Markleeville, CA on snowboard trips.

Now I am in the Pac Nor-west... I live fairly close to Woodenville, WA. That is where the Red Hook Brewery is.

I live close to a city called Evansville, IN.  But in my neck of the woods there are many Ville's  such as Poseyville, Rockville, Maysville, Plainville, Cornettsville, Portersville.  Thats just to name a few that are all within about in a 25 mile radius of here.

My father grew up just outside of Jacksonville, OR (southern Oregon) and I currently live in a town next to Roseville, CA (just outside of Sacramento, CA).

People are not limited by the circumstance that they are born in. They are limited by the size of their dreams. Show them that their dreams can have no limits and in turn their accomplishments can be limitless.
