Reduced drag coefficient...
« on: November 30, 2007, 12:53:37 PM »
Greetings SBG:

Over the years I've watched my temples slowly and increasingly reveal themselves.  Balding doesn't seem to run in the family, it's more like ~ thinning ~ if you will.  Anyway, since my military days, I've adopted the buzz cut.  Just grab a pair of clippers and mow away.  That pretty much maintained itself for about a week, but I'd have the shadow after day 3.  A year or 2 ago, I saw a magazine blurb about the HeadBlade.  I made a mental note to check it out if I could find it locally.

Last month, while shopping for facial razors at my local Walgreens, I found the HeadBlade.  Well, it seemed like it was time to finally try it.  Purchased HB and let it sit on my desk for a couple of weeks while I conducted a bit of research.  Finally lathered up with some gel and did the deed.  It was COLD outside, jack!!

I learned that the chronic head itch and flaking I've endured for years was NOT caused by lack of cleanliness or dandruff.  I use a sturdy scalp scrubber and pretty good shampoo.  What I had was a dry and flaking scalp.  So, I went back to the store, picked up some HB HeadSlick and the BaldGuyz moisturizer.  Ahhh, heaven.  No itch, beautifully groomed bullet head and low maintenance.  Sweet!

I've glad to have joined the SBG Brigade and have no plans to go bushy again.

It's time to kick ass and chew bubblegum, and I'm all out of gum!

Great to have you here.  We seem to have a lot of new converts.  Headshaving is an addiction, as is visiting this site on a regular basis, so welcome.  Post up a pic, and post often.
How is that Hopey / Changey thing working for you?

Awesome man!  Great to have you hear at SBG!

Welcome. Glad to have you with us.
Life has three aspects: Paradox, Humor, and Change.

Paradox: Life is a mystery; don't waste time figuring it out.
Humor: Keep a sense of humor, especially about yourself. It is a strength beyond all measure
Change: Know that nothing stays the same.

Charles, Welcome to SBG's and glad you joined us.
Stick with the HeadBlade, it will get better and easier over time.
Sounds like a good routine you've got, keep us posted on how things go.   O0
