hello fellow chrome domes.... with the holiday season most of us have been taking road trips 2 visit relatives/friends.
just wondering.... when taking road trips with the family R U the driver or passenger. i'll start: 99.9% i am the driver during road trips while my wife conveniently sleeps with blankets & pillows.
in all honestly.... i prefer 2 drive than B the passenger.
so.... how 'bout u? driver or passenger?? what's your story?

I am definitely the driver. My wife doesn't like to drive long distances and she won't drive at night at all. I prefer driving at night when the kids will sleep and there is less traffic.

My wife should drive since she does it better, is always right, and never gets lost ... just ask her.
Though I really am not much of a driving/car enthusiast (it's merely a mode of transportation), I do most of the driving on family road trips. Personally, I'd rather drive than deal with the kids & dog.

It depends, my wife drives a lot as she really enjoys driving and is a good driver. Due to her driving ability and such we got her a BMW a couple of years ago (the ultimate driving machine) and she is in heaven.
I usually drive the long haul marathon type trips (5 hrs +)

I enjoy driving and do most of it; plus, I'm not a very good passenger. Also, I can rarely sleep because I'm afraid my wife will get drowsy without my talking to her.

I cannot stand to be a passenger. I get too bored. My wife hates driving long distance, so it works out good for us.

My wife too doesn't like to drive long distances and she won't drive at night at all.
But she also doesn't like to drive in the city with narrow streets, changing left and right and chaos and traffic lights which show always red...
She just drives in our suburb - taking daughter to school and fieldhockey training and playing saxophon and flute and...
But she must take a part of our holiday trip to France: the passage through Belgium is her duty.

If my wife is behind the wheel, I'd have to be heavily sedated. She scares the crap outta me!!! Anyone but her and I'm fine being the passenger.

I'm usually the driver. Once in awhile I'll take the passenger seat on long trips, but mostly I enjoy driving.

Driver all the way.
Problem is, my wife wants to drive too 'cause SHE gets bored. But I put it off as long as possible.

I drive. I can't stand to be a passenger when my wife is driving. I'd rather ride with my 86 year old Grandmother, and she is dead.
