Yeah, Nick, that is one of the big hurdles we face, sounds like you're already over it. It's great when you get the wives encouragement.
Like Razor said, once you feel the smooth dome, you won't want to be clippered anymore.
It just feels so much better. Post a pic when you do shave it.

Hi guys.  I stumbled across this site today and decided to join up.  What a cool place to be.  I had hair halfway down my back until my second child was born four years ago.  I decided it was time to ditch the rock star hair and come up with something new.  I had my hair cut short, but got tired of paying $16 every 2 weeks.  So one night, I came out of the shower slick and shiny.  My wife was real surprised. 
Anyway, greetings from Georgia and I look forward to being part of the community.
I'll try to get a picture up as soon as I figure out how.

I wore mine clipped for a few months, then just did it one night in the shower.  I love the feel of my slick head!  I find myself, and my wife, rubbing it after my shower.
