Toilet paper worked for me, the couple of times I cut myself. Very rarely happens, and i'm not exactly cautious when I shave.

Try rinsing your head under cold water and then applying an ice cube directly to the cut.

welcome to the sly guys bbc. the tricks the other guys mentioned seem to work. i don't get nicks very often anymore. but the cold water right before leaving the shower seems to work wonders. enjoy the site.

There are some really great tips here for stopping the bleeding. I like the Afrin Nasasl Spray idea. Because I almost always cut my head, I have to shave at night so I don't show up at work with my head wrapped in toilet paper. I usually heal pretty quickly and I think it is because I take a Daily Men's Multi-Vitamin that is high in Zinc and Vitamin E. I know Zinc helps w/skin healing and E helps w/scarring.

On the two rare occasions that I nicked myself, I found the touch of a q-tip soaked with hydrogen peroxide did the trick. After that, a once-over with Bald Guyz Moisture Gel and I was ready to go. By the way, anybody notice the number of baldies in the congregation, chorus, clergy, and orchestra during the obsequies for President Ford on Tuesday? Professor Melon

Ahhhh... the ever present nick and blood!
For me, I just apply a little pressure to stop the bleeding. I used to use different stuff until my sister (who has done a ton of research in wound care) said that H
2O
2 (that's hydrogen peroxide... I wanted to sound smart since I'm following a post by the prof
), antibiotic creams, and such actually do more harm than good to your body by killing/cleaning out the good bacteria along with the bad.
She told me in the case of small cut or nick, the best thing is just press on it with my finger until the bleeding stops.

Bat guano would be a good social interaction deterrent. Don't think it would be good for much else though. Other than fertilizer that is

Isn't Guano a tropical fruit?
Hey Pig Pen, you were right. The HeadBlade products were awesome. No cuts with the HB Classic and the HeadSlick was outstanding.
