That lesson is NEVER go elk hunting by yourself. I had to learn this lesson the hard way, hiking who knows how many miles with a 100 pound pack on your back in 1 foot of snow, through some of the roughest terrain I have ever been in. But it was worth it. See attached picture. Hope nobody is offended by it
Congrats bro !!
Hope you had help or horses to pack it out !

YOU KILLED BAMBI's GRANDPA! SHAME ON YOU!
Nahhh, I get so sick of hearing that. I believe if taht was Bambi's grandpa....then couldnt the editor do some sort of miracle and bring it back to life ...LOL
Good Job bro. I have never went deer hunting or anything like that. I would like to sometime. I would LOVE to be able to say I brought a deer down...with out saying...but I have to get the front of my car fixed too. That I have done...twice. Damn things, they sure know how to tear up a truck
I've determined that Montana is the contagious lower 48 state that is most like Alaska. It's huge and cold, doesn't have alot of people, but has alot of beautiful scenery.
Congratulations on slaying the beast and hauling it home, you'll be eating that for a long time.
Beautiful scenery! Almost makes me want to see snow.
Nice bro! I just took his ex-girlfriend across the border in Idaho a couple of weeks ago. Luckily I was with my dad and didn't have to carry her out by myself. How many hours did it take you to pack it out?
