I have fallen into a Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday shave rut and I hate it.  I don't think the closer shave on alternate days is worth the stubble.

On the weekend, it's really nice to be able to take your time and enjoy the shave a little more than the regular weekday rush.
I have been getting up very early the past two weeks for my training, and I missed only one day. I have had to speed up my routine and I was able to adjust, albeit slowly, lol.
But I did find that since I was shaving so early, my stubble came on much earlier, of course, but it also seemed that I maybe didn't get as close in some spots, since I had to be quicker.
I will skip a day on weekends every so often depending on our schedule, but I normally will shave both days. I agree with Jesse, Paul and Nomad in that I love leaving the house fresh and cleanly shaven. It seems to give a sort of mental edge, so to speak.
The stubble doesn't bother me later in the day, it just tells me I'll be shaving tomorrow morning.  O0

X, you are experiencing the same thing that I have been.  With getting up at 5 am, I am usually feeling the stubble before lunch.  Now weekends are a differenct story.  Like today being a Saturday, I was up for at least an hour or so before I shaved and it almost 1:00 pm  and all is as smooth as glass.

I seem to be getting lazy at times.  I will shave and then shave again two days after the first shaving.  I need to remain Sly and shave everyday!

I've taken slacking to a whole new level. I usually don't shave on weekends, and sometimes I go a whole week without a shave.  :/O

Thee, I agree with the 'Hawk, I have never gone more than two days the most without shaving.
I just can't stand not being smooth, and usually don't go more than a day when I do decide not to shave.

Yeah, I know...gotta stop slacking. I hate not being smooth, and the first shave after a week is a b*tch.

I tend to be an every other day shaver, usually in the evening.  However the weekly Sunday morning shave is one of life's little luxuries when I have plenty of time, and no reason to rush.   8)

Totally unacceptable.   :Xo! :Xo!  You'd better mend your ways or you might be asked to leave the group.    ;) ;)

I think we've all gone through lazy spells.  I've never been able to go more than 3 or 4 days, because I just can't stand the MPB look I get after that.  I may skip one day on the weekends, but it's been a long, long time since I went longer than one day without shaving.  I went a week without shaving last December, but only because I was down with the flu and just not up to shaving.  The first thing I did when I started feeling better was shave it smooth again.  What a relief it was to get back to normal!!
