Rugby World Cup...
« on: October 20, 2007, 05:13:04 PM »
I am so gutted right now!! we fought our arses off and lost, and it might have come down to a bad decision by that stupid video guy that sits in his little box who says yes and no.  Yet, we all saw the video replays which showed the decision in our favour... some ya win... some ya lose.. :(

But, big ups to the england team.. we fought hard, we've been the underdogs and despatched the aussies, and french (who were ranked above us) and for just a short while, we looked like we might just regain the title.

I'm proud of our boys... when everyone else wrote us off... we proved them wrong.

(sorry guys, just wanted to get it off my chest)

I am happy South Africa won. They were the better team and when the time came to deliver the goods ,they did. England played a great game but I believe they relied too much on Jonny Wilkinson.

Having lived there at one time and still having friends there, found myself rooting for S.A. as well, especially after Ireland lost to France. :'(

I do like watching Rugby.  Had a few friends that played it in college.  My brother played also.  Too bad it's not on TV more here.
People are not limited by the circumstance that they are born in. They are limited by the size of their dreams. Show them that their dreams can have no limits and in turn their accomplishments can be limitless.
