Yeah, I'm with Rob, Paul and the Robmeister...I have some of my grandad's old straight razors, but I'd end up a victim of my own insanity...er somethin like that

Wellcame to group, I have a  question.   How do you straight razor shave a full head hair?  What is the step by step prosiager, i've never shaved my head before, I have brown hair and I want to lock myself in the bathroom untill i'm bold.

Well Kelsey, Johannes step-by-step is a pretty thorough tutorial right here on this thread.  If that's the route you want to go, I would suggest taking clippers to your noggin with no guard first and then following Johannes method.  If you can afford it, find a MASTER barber with LOTS of experience shaving heads.  If you have a "The Art of Shaving" shop near you, they will shave your head with a straight razor while teaching you how to do it.

Hi guys!

I finally broke down and ordered a DOVO 5/8 STR8 Razor for face shaving. I got totally fed up with all the different double and triple cart. shavers that left me with a face full of Velcro by noon...

Nothing like an "old fashioned" barber shop style STR8 razor shave to start off the day!

Except for the HeadBlade for my dome I think cart. shavers suck for face shaing....

Sraight Razor Shaves are great, and the Tutorial is awsome man.  But I think I will stick to the classic ways of the HeadBlade, and go with the Straight Razor job when I hit up the Barber Shop, talk about a treat right there!
