Hey WH, I saw this story awhile ago on ESPN.com while taking a peak to see if my 'Cats made the top story (and they did) and I read that story also and that is truly inspirational in this day & time of the "it's-all-about-me" athletes.

All I can say is "Wow". Kinda brings you back down to earth to read something like that. We'd all do well to learn a lesson from this young boy and his attitude and his courage, as well the the selflessness of the kids in his school. Thanks for sharing, Warhawk.

Thanks for that Warhawk. All to often we only hear about the bad teenagers, the ones in gangs, with guns, with drugs. It's really great to know of such selfless young adults. Great you brought that to our attention.

those young men are awesome. bravo to them. now i can beatup warhawk for making me tear up first damn thing in the morning

j/k brother. that is the type of thing that all high school kids should read. problem is, most are so self absorbed that they wouldn't learn anything from it.

I agree completely
Its situations like these that make me stop and think when I start bitchin about the dumb things in life.
