hello fellow chrome domes....if u have a cell phone than u might want 2 read this.  a friend of mine sent me an e-mail yesterday (10-8-07).  so here is the paraphrased shortened message:

Cell phone numbers going public today.  REMINDER..... all cell phone numbers are being released to telemarketing companies today and you will start to receive sale calls. 

YOU WILL BE CHARGED FOR THESE CALLS.  To prevent this....call the following number from your cell phone:  1.888.382.1222

It is the NATIONAL DO NOT CALL LIST.  It will only take a minute of your time.  It blocks your number for five years.  You must call from the cell phone number you want to have blocked.  You can not call from a different phone number.

Help others by passing this one to all your family and friends.  It takes only 20 seconds.  I've done mine already.

Warhawk, I'm not sure that this is entirely true. The 888# does match the National Do Not Call Registry's #, but I think this may be a hoax. Telemarketers can't use auto dialers to call cell phones.

This is one that goes around periodically and is a hoax; I will be curious to see what happens as we move further from land lines and more to cellular service.
