well in my opinion.. Mac3's are the best.
I bought a 20 blades of sensure excel 3 blades and don't even compare to
mac3. I will use them up but will not buy them again. I've tried lots of them.
mac3 and fusion are the BEST.. I stand by that. stongly do.................
so make sure to get the best,, it's your head

For me the Sensor double work much better on my HB than the Sensor triples that I wasted $8 on. OTOH, after reading how much some guys like the Mach 3, I have resurrected mine and use it as a follow-up after the HB. From what I have gathered here, it really depends on which brand of double or triple you are using. I am even thinking about giving my Fusion another try!

I think I read in another post that you bought doubles, but for what it's worth, I like the Sensor Excel blades that are double blades.

For Astra blades, I prefer the doubles
For the Sensor blades, I prefer the trips

I've been using Atra generics in my headblade. They're doubles, and they work just fine, no reason to make a change.

Headblade Triples are what I use. Atra, Mach II, and Quattro tear up my scalp.
It seems that trial-and-error is how to figure out what works for each individual.

I use the HeadBlade with Sensor Excel (doubles). Leave my pate pretty darn smooth with fewer passes.

slick, I am a big fan of the Atra double and the Sensor double. I have tried the HB triples and find they don't work as well. They don't rinse as well either, and I don't get a closer shave. I have to do more passes. I still have to try the HB doubles.
The best thing for you to do is experiment with each one and see what works best for your scalp. If you check other threads, you'll find the blades affect each sly guy differently. Keep us posted on how you do.

I use HeadBlade and Sensor trips myself!
