Vacation!
« on: October 07, 2007, 04:20:36 PM »

Where did you go on your all time best vacation and why?

I'm tossing up between Playa Del Carmen  -  Mexico for the honeymoon or Sedona Arizona on a previous trip! Both sooo different but amazing!

Only thing that sucks is the 16+ hour plane ride to get there!

Right before my youngest son was born (my wife was 71/2 months pregnant) we got to go on an all-expenses paid carribean 5 island cruise.  It was the first cruise for both of us and it was great.  I may have had a better time than my wife did. :*))

Actually is was a perk given to her from her job.  She only found out about it less than a month before we left.  We checked with the doctors and they said she could go.  The ship had a doctor and the worst that would happen is that the baby would be born at sea.

That's a tough one, because travel vacations are all pretty sweet/interesting in various ways.  For me, probably Progresso in the Yucatan because I was able to stay six months and I had a terrific female companion from Progresso while there.

Man, that's really a tough one!  I've been to Hawaii several times and all of them have been good.  But, I think it would come down to either my Honeymoon to St. Lucia or my trip to Japan.
People are not limited by the circumstance that they are born in. They are limited by the size of their dreams. Show them that their dreams can have no limits and in turn their accomplishments can be limitless.

No doubt about it, a two week self drive throughout Ireland.  Can't wait to go back.

I knew a truck driver once that when his family would go on vacation he refused to drive anywhere.  His wife was afraid of flying so there were a few times that she would drive there and he would fly.  He wouldnt even ride in the car for vacation.
Where we go for vacation is Sarasota Fl.  We go there because our stay is for free...being my wifes boss has  aplace down there that we can stay out.  So yea it cuts down on the expense alot.  If it werent for that I doubt it if we would go anywhere..unless we could take our tent and camp out along the highway. But I would love to go and see all the northeastern states ( New England) alot of history up that way.
