« on: October 05, 2007, 07:04:47 AM »

This women received a sum of money($15,000) to become an eternal living billboard.

She put her forehead on ebay and online casino Golden Palace.Com successfully bid for it.

See attached link for a background of this sad story.

On her part, that is the stupidest thing ever.....white trash crap, or just really dumb, or maybe she's just plain crazy.  $15,000? and she originally meant to do it for 10?  What will that pay, like a year of university education nowadays?  Damn, what an idiot!  That tattoo is so ugly!  Maybe she is planning on getting laser removal, hopefully?  She'll still have the mark though.  What is this world coming to?!?

And the GoldenPalace.com is the worst part of all of this...how can they offer this up?  Disfigurement for $10 grand....well now $15, wow.  Its not even good advertisement either, its terrible.  How many people does this trashy lady from Utah see anyway on a daily basis....its gonna be less now, once it sinks in how ugly that crap looks on her head.

Damn this makes me mad

spot on Chico O0

What is also just as bad as the stupidity of the women and the callousness of GoldenPalace.com is the tattooist who actually agreed to do this to someone!

But according to the article they did spend 7 hours trying to talk her out of it :/O :px

Yeah man, the tattooist did all he could, I mean seven hours?  I would have spent about an hour at most, after that, well, its her forehead!

I agree with all of the post here. This is beyond stupid. At least agree to shave you head for a while and do it on a part of the head that will eventually be covered back up with hair.

Paradox: Life is a mystery; don't waste time figuring it out.
Humor: Keep a sense of humor, especially about yourself. It is a strength beyond all measure
Change: Know that nothing stays the same.

You used the right word there, JDog.  Sad, very sad.

If I were the artist I would have done as bad a job as possible, told her how NOT to take care of it and bid her luck

Very sad Jdog.  I can't believe the lengths some people will go to for money - where are her principles?  Golden Palaces's?  Like BalDoug said, at least she could've shaved her head and had it done on there and agreed to stay shaved for several months or something... can you imagine going anywhere with her because people will not gawk because of the tattoo, they'll gawk because of the stupidity of it's concept!

It might have been worth it if they paid her a middle class income, yearly until she died. Everyone likes a free lunch

Even at that price, I wouldn't do it on my forehead. That will be on every picture taken of her for the rest of her life. Of course, there is always Photoshop I guess  :/O
