People are not limited by the circumstance that they are born in. They are limited by the size of their dreams. Show them that their dreams can have no limits and in turn their accomplishments can be limitless.

Actually it makes my head throb; I think I'm too old for text-speak.  But Tyler, that list gives me a migrain.  I'm surprised that they haven't started teaching this as a class in school.

lol, me too. I always have to read the Hawk's posts twice. I think one day it will be taught in lit class; between chat and texting, it's like a whole new language!  It's even in commercials now.    :D

Wow, U R good; it usually takes me at least 3 times to understand, but by then, I've forgotten what the thread was all about.   ;D

Unfortunately, I think your predictions are closer to the truth than any of us wants to admit.  The stuff I see in schools these days doesn't give me much hope.   :'(

Kids are starting to use these chat room acronyms in formal assignments and on test - and can't understand why it's incorrect.

Thanks Tyler for the link.  It could come in handy.  Actually, Warhawk has not been a problem for me.  But there have been many times when I see an acronym and have no clue what it means.  Now at least I have reference manual. :/O

Um, nope.
This is not a TRUE acronym in terms.
The acronym LWAUFI stands for Laughing Winning Anthems Unravelling Futility Indecsion.

It was used by my crackhead/mentally unstable wrestling coach to symbolise the futility of High School and his perception that all students are destined for failure in one way or another.

He was fired by the Atheltic Department.
