As the good guys of Chicago(my White Sox) fight for the basement...the bad guys of Chicago will be fighting for a ring!
How far will BaldRob's Chicago Cubs go now they won their division and are in the playoffs?
Honestly, I will be rooting for them...it was great to see Wrigley Field's marquee light up for the White Sox in '05, hope U.S. Cellular will be able to do the same for the North Side this year!!!
Can't believe I'm saying this...
GO CUBS!!!

I am ardent Tigers fan and we nearly won it last year, but I support the Cubs and their push to win big.

Arnie, I'd be glad to see the Cubs win it all, but then again, I'd be glad if any NL team won - I get sick of hearing the AL hype of the Red Sox-Yankees... so BaldRob, good luck to you & your team - you've had a great season and hopefully you can continue your winning ways!

I'm voting that they'll win the World Series. As someone who despises the SF Giants, I'd love to see the Cubs win a World Series again before the Giants do.

Schro...I was thinking the same thing last year, not really paying attention to the Cardinals...only frustrated that they limped in with their "minimal" record.

Minimal record, minimal league....
Although, I will officially proclaim that I am jumping on the Cubs' bandwagon. I hate all the AL teams that qualified for the post-season.
GO CUBS.

Definately not my intention...or subconciously was it?

All kidding aside, it's been a decent decade, so far, for ending curses...
...and when all else fails...for the love of baseball, watching the Yankees lose more than they win!
2006 St. Louis Cardinals over the Detroit Tigers 4-1
2005 Chicago White Sox over the Houston Astros 4-0
2004 Boston Red Sox over the St. Louis Cardinals 4-0 2003 Florida Marlins over the New York Yankees 4-2
2002 Anaheim Angels over the San Francisco Giants 4-3
2001 Arizona Diamondbacks over the New York Yankees 4-3
2000 New York Yankees over the New York Mets 4-1
2007 GO CUBS GO!!! It's your time!!!
P.S. Can't believe this is my 500th post and it is for DA CUBS!!! Anyone check the temperature of hell recently?

Why was Zambrano taken out?

Wasn't he pitching good?

Not a good start, but hopefully it is like the Rubic's cube for the Cubs...
Little trial and error, but once you get it figured out...

With Piniella's experience, you'd think the trial and error period would be over.
But that's just me.
