From Cincinnati Ohio originally moved down to Richmond Kentucky after My dad retired. I have been all over the country doing this and that but there is nothing like the Hills of Kentucky. IF I make it to retirement I will be moving to he Smoky Mountains of TN as they call to me frequently

Not a prob. you will love it here. Couldn't find a better crowd. Like they say in Sweden your Noggen looks good. I got some Norweighen in my like Leffsa and Lutafisk , LOL , Only one in the family that does, but you put that there with mashed Tators and alot of butter, Oh Yeah ya bet ya. I like fish. Join in and enjoy the forum bro..

I don't know what leffsa is (probably something Norwegian), but lutfisk is pretty good - try it with horseradish cream! -

Lutfisk is one part of the Scandanavian heritage that made it to the States--mainly in Minnesota and vicinity. It's the subject of many, many jokes among people of Scandanavian decent here. I was raised with it and I do like it, but when my wife and kids tried it--they did taste a fork full--they ordered pizza. I think you have to be born with a special gene to appreciate lutfisk--it's a taste that can't be acquired. Never had it with horseradish cream, but I've had it with white sauce and also done in the oven with brown butter--prefer the white sauce. Lefsa is norske-sort of a Norwegian tortilla made with potatoes, served with butter and jam. -

Oh yes, my brothers said it was rotten fish, it is cod soaked in Lye, Rince it off and always cook it in a cotton pillow case boil yah sure. But as you said, I think you have to appreciate natural flavors in order to like it. A pizza is way more easy to eat to some people. -
