Well, I'm originally from North Bay Ontario, moved to Ottawa Ontario in '86 then to Toronto Ontario in '99 for 8 months then ended up somehow in Quito Ecuador for 2 years. Moved back to Ottawa 2 weeks after 9/11 and stayed there until '04 when I moved here to Forest Ontario. Forest is just a small town along the shore of Lake Huron only an hour from Detroit.

State income tax.....yeah we do.
Huh...I was told you didn't. My bad. I though New Jersey, Nevada and Texas were three states that didn't have a state income tax.

It's Nevada, Texas, and Florida. But it's easy to confuse New Jersey with Florida.

Tennessee also has no state income tax....
I am from the great Chicagoland but now live in Southaven, MS. (Just south of Memphis....after looking in TN for a place to live I realized it was worth paying MS state income tax to not live in Memphis)

Born and raised in Southern California. Lived briefly in Texas (hated it), went back to SoCal. Moved to West Plains, Missouri a few years ago. Love it here. Sick of moving, so staying here 'til they put my sly head in a coffin

By the way, the State of Washington also has no income tax.
I was born in Oakland, CA, raised in Alameda, and now live just outside of Sacramento, CA.

Jersey is a fine state. The only bad part part of Jersey is the Turnpike that leads out of NYC.
You're forgetting about the overcrowding, high car insurance rates and confiscatory property taxes.
Look at the bright side... You don't have to pump your own gas
