Fewer BBC and fewer beards
DoberDaddy:
I see fewer shaved heads on the street than I did I think when I first came back in 2016, most of the guys are older.
I do notice that SMP is still popular in some circles, as well as cheap trips to Turkey for HT.
Beards, are as popular as ever, although I do noticed some of them getting shorter, but still WAY over groomed.
Burst fades (mullety things) are popular now (ug).
Dragon:
plenty of shaved heads in the UK and beards but i have heard that the moustache is on the rise

--- Quote from: Semi-Sly on May 06, 2023, 08:25:05 AM ---So I meet with the same group of men four nights a week there’s probably 50 to 60 guys in the group and that anyone meeting there are at least 30 of them present. There is a great range in ages from the early 30s to the early 70s.
Over the last year I have noticed that there are fewer and fewer guys who are both by choice also there’s a noticeable increase in the number of the younger guys who are bold by nature who have allowed the horseshoe fringe to grow back to at least a visible length.
Also over the last six months quite a few of them who had full beards have a going clean-shaven or more often going back to sporting just a mustache. This phenomena appears to have occurred quite quickly and I noticed that each time a guy does it the rest of the guys congratulate him and tell him how good he looks
I wonder if this is a local phenomenon or if this is a new trend that’s starting
Do you know how styles swing back-and-forth like a pendulum!
And I also noticed that there are fewer if you were guys posting on this board I’m wondering if the age of a shaved head as it is in Athens now and it’s way down And I also noticed that there are fewer if you were guys posting on this board I’m wondering if the age of a shaved head Has passed it’s paragee?

I think younger guys are often too hungover to shave :D as for me, I see fewer sly bald guys on the streets, sometimes I take a break from shaving just so I don't become obsessed with having a smooth head 24/7. Also have a date coming up today so when I shave my face and head it will be a pleasant ritual
reddog:
If this is true, I would be ok with that. When I started shaving my head 10 years ago, I liked that it was an edgy, less common haircut. I would always catch people staring. Over the years, it seems I often wore my hair opposite of the current trend. So if shaved heads become less popular that's good!
I remember in the 60's and 70's, when long hair was the norm, I though it was cool to see an older guy holding on to the crewcut or flattop. I guess I was the one staring then!
So, being we are hooked on wearing a smooth shaved head, I'm sure most of us will continue to embrace our bald brotherhood, and enjoy being different.
Barbero Pelón:
Is refreshing see bald guys with experiment facial beard styles.
