Hello lovely bald folk!
I’ve posted here before but not for a while.
I’m considering going for the shave. I have a full head of hair but hate my hair and loved it when I went nuclear before.
Also growing a beard to ‘balance’ out the look as advised previously.
Just thought I’d say hello... Hello.

Yes, Nick, many women are not in favor of their man making a big change. When I shaved my head for the first time, it took me a while to get my (then) girlfriend to agree to a one time buzzcut. So one morning I got up before her and shaved my head completely bald. Well, she was in shock when she was it, but by the end of the day, she said she loved it and I should keep it!

Ah cool.
I guess I’m quite an anxious person anyway and worry about peoples opinions/approval. I know it’s silly. Might get the clippers out at some point soon if I’m feeling brave enough!!

you can guarentee that some people will have opinions and will feel the need to tell you and some will say something because they think they should. Its your head your hair style and after a day it will be old news. the person whose opinion matters most is you, if you want to, do it, if you like it keep it, if you dont it will grow back to where you are very soon.

I just told another guy a few days ago considering a beard that no matter what we do, approximately 5% will hate it, 5% will love it, and 90% just don't care. I know I spent way to many years trying to please others with my appearance. Yes, the 5% that hate it are more likely to comment, and the 5% that love it are less likely to comment, and the 90% will say nothing. Don't worry about the 5%.

Good start Nick! Time to finish the job.
A few months after I initially shaved my head, I grew my hair back for a couple of months into a nice flattop. When I decided to go baldie again, I had my girlfriend shave my head down with a 00000 blade. She was hesitant, but I said she could say she shaved a guys head bald. It gave her some ownership in my baldie style! Maybe have your fiance help with your headshave.

Nevermind, super nice job! It looks awesome on you. Now get a little color on your head, and moisturize for a nice shine!

Thanks for all your comments guys.
I quite like it. My partner def doesn’t. Guess will see if I can persuade her to accept it or not...
What do people use for moisturising/what’s their routine?
