How much time before you feel stubble?

So, some people love us bald, others don't, and most could care less.
I think most of us love the FEELING of a smoothly shaved head. I do and always found that pleasurable. It's like conquering the whatever remaining follicles that produce hair.
If you get a great close shave and the feeling of the shaved area matches the bald areas in texture, HOW LONG before the fringe feels like sandpaper and the smoothness is gone? Is it like a 5 o'clock shadow? Next morning, etc.?
Just curious the RATE out remaining follicles grow hair? And wonder if we, MPB guys, grow any hair but at a slower rate?
Food for thought. LOL

It's usually the next morning for me. Though, I found that during the colder months I tend to shave every other day, rather than every day.

About 12 hours for me. I can't see any hair, but just start to feel a little stubble. Definitely feel plenty of stubble the next morning.

That's about the same here. If I could only stop the habit of FEELING for stubble during the day. I hope my habit isn't too obvious to my co-workers!

I was thinking about 10 to 12 hours as well. I normally shave at night, it feels OK early morning, but by noon is sandpaper.

I do mine 1st thing in the morning, which usually makes me late. But that's another story. But yeah, 10-12 hours seems to be the break point for the old sandpaper coming out. I notice the most while wearing a cap.
I wonder if hair regrown rate changes as our MPB increases or with the natural increase of age?

That seems to be the sweet spot although I WISH it were double that! Like to have the morning smoothness at night clubbing.

I find it depends on the razor I use.
Mach 3 - I can get about 10 hrs.
If I use the DE I can get way more, prob about 12-13 hrs.

As Dragon mentioned, it is the double edge razor. I find that it gives an incredible shave. I haven't settled on any one particular blade brand yet. I've about four packs that i rotate through. But I stay BBS for longer that the Mach 3, that's for sure.
