I've been sly for just six days now and I've already had three people ask to rub my head, one of them for "good luck". I don't know, I never thought of myself as a good luck charm but whatever! As long as they ask first I don't mind if someone rubs my head. I'm actually diggin' all the attention I've been getting since going sly!

Twenty seven days into the shaved head. My bald head gets more attention then when I had hair. Enjoying it.

That will wear off Dave. Soon you will be the only one paying attention to your haircut. I can't believe it's 27 days already! You better go for 90 days, then it will be really hard to go back to hair.

People get used to it faster than you.
I still "feeling" the hair, like a phantom limb after 10 months.

Yup I was just thinking 60 days. Was playing around flipping a coin heads stay bald tails grow a bald fade. Keep getting tails so I kept flipping. I think that the sign for me to take your 90 day headshave challenge. Accepted.

I went back and forth for a few years between bald and a white flattop. What made me finally decide to stay shaved is my dermatitis issue that returns when I grow hair. I tried every remedy I could find, including prescriptions. If I shave everyday, it cures it completely. Must be God's way of telling me I am destined to live with a shaved head, which is perfectly fine with me!
I think you'll be completely hooked after 90 days, and say goodbye to your receeding flat top.

I have been bald for years, more than 12 I would say. A head rub is something my girlfriend has total control over ... I rarely get anyone referring to my head at all, let alone asking to rub it. Have never really been called a Bald nickname either.

I think it has more a lot to do with your own personality. I can be a clown, esp when drunk, so that disarms people with whom I'm hanging.
That said, I would NEVER ask to head rub a dude because I already know what it feels like. ha!

I don't get much attention anymore either. It's probably because shaved heads are literally everywhere these days. Bald heads are so common, it's seen as just another haircut. I still like striking up a conversation with other sly guys. Went to Fleet Farm today and got the bald guy nod from 2 sly guys.

When I first shaved my head, most of my coworkers asked if they could rub it. My doctor did too ha ha.
It'll be 3 months next week that I've been shaving my head and everybody at work says they can't remember me with hair. I ran into a former coworker last week that I haven't seen in 16 months and while he was surprised to see me with a shaved head, he also said he couldn't remember me with hair.
When I show people pictures of me side-by-side with hair and without hair they all say I look better without hair!

when I see old pics of myself before and during hair loss, I look soft. I won't even tell you what friends say when I share an old pic.
